These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Coursefind.app. By accessing or using coursefind.app or search.coursefind.app (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Section 2
About us and the service.
The Platform is operated by Surf Coast IT Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 73 652 995 018), an Australian company trading under the registered business name “Coursefind.app”. References to “we”, “us” and “our” are to that company.
Coursefind is a search engine that lets you discover, filter and compare university and college programmes internationally โ including details such as rankings, fees, English-language requirements, intakes and scholarship tags โ drawn from official university sources.
Eligibility
You may use the Platform if you are able to form a legally binding contract under the laws that apply to you. If you are using the Platform on behalf of someone else โ for example, a student you support โ you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Section 3
A free information service.
Section 4
Intellectual property.
The Platform โ including its design, layout, logo, branding, text, software and the compiled, structured database of course information โ is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
- We do not claim ownership of the underlying factual course data published by universities, which is sourced from publicly available official university websites.
- You may not copy, scrape, extract, reproduce, republish or redistribute the Platform or our compiled database, in whole or in part, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- You may share individual course links for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Section 5
Accuracy of information.
We compile information from official university websites and update it regularly. However, course details change frequently and may contain errors or omissions.
Section 6
Acceptable use.
Your use of the Platform must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits, among other things, automated scraping or crawling, commercial harvesting of data, attempts to interfere with or disrupt the service, and any unlawful use.
The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference, and a breach of it is a breach of these Terms.
Section 7
User accounts (coming soon).
We do not currently require an account to use the Platform. When account and saved-shortlist features become available, you will be responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.
Section 8
Third-party links and content.
The Platform links to and may embed third-party websites and content, including official university pages and social media platforms. We provide these for convenience only.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, policies or practices of third-party sites, and linking does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms and policies.

Changes to the service and terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “effective” date shown at the top of this page. Material changes may be notified by reasonable means. Your continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction

General
